中波两国之交始于文化合作，兴于艺术交流。

2013年，中国国家主席习近平提出建设“一带一路”合作倡议，旨在积极发展与沿线国家的合作伙伴关系，打造政治互信、经济融合、文化包容的利益共同体、命运共同体和责任共同体。“一带一路”建设，作为承载时代使命的世纪工程，掀开了世界发展进程的新篇章。

2017年，在共建“一带一路”倡议引领下，中波大学联盟应运而生，27 所成员高校为两国高等教育广泛交流、深度合作搭建实践平台；为共建“中波高等教育共同体”、促进两国人民“民心相通”构筑互联桥梁。

2018年，在“一带一路”倡议五周年之际，联盟举办首届“一带一路”中波大学联盟艺术节暨艺术设计大赛，以艺设学科为纽带，以优秀作品为载体，展现“一带一路”精神元素、传递中波历史文化符号，受到了两国高校师生的热烈回应！

Sino-Polish relationsstarted from cultural cooperation and flourished from artistic exchange.

In 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed the "Belt and Road" Initiative (hereinafter referred to as the“BRI”) to proactively develop partnerships with countries along the Belt and Road route and build a community of shared interests, destiny and responsibility featuring mutual political trust, economic integration and cultural inclusiveness. Bearing the mission of the 21st century, the BRI commenced a new chapter in the global development.

In 2017, guided by the BRI, the Sino-Polish University Consortium (hereinafter referred to as the“Consortium”) emerged at the historic moment. Together, 27 member universities of the Consortium built a platform for extensive exchange and in-depth cooperation between higher education institutions from the two countries and contributed to the building of a shared higher education community between the two countries and the bonding of heart between the two peoples.

2018 marks the fifth anniversary of the BRI. The Consortium holds the first“Belt and Road” Sino-Polish University Consortium Art Festival and Art & Design Competition (hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”). By promoting links in art and design disciplines and through the excellent works, the event embodies the spiritual element of BRI and conveys the historical and cultural symbols of China and Poland. And the Competition has been warmly responded to by the faculty and students of universities of the two countries.

Over a thousand works from Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing of China and from Poland have been collected to express the good wishes!

All contestants are eagerly expected to excel in the Competition, to showcase creativity and to harvest friendship!

Linking Belt and Road, Bonding Art and Heart. Fulfil the dream together and sail afar!
