I wish to extend my whole-hearted congratulations to organizers, awarded winners and all the participants of the SPUC Art & Design Competition. I am very satisfied that so many renowned universities from Poland and China joined their forces to stage this event.

The competition is a wonderful initiative that gives the students opportunity to showcase their talent, skills and creativity. It is also a great way of strengthening academic and cultural cooperation, as well as people-to-people exchanges between Poland and China. The fact that it has attracted so many gifted participants reflects not only the energy, effort and dedication put into its organization, but also the need for such university initiatives and the potential for further Sino Polish cooperation in the area of art and design.

Bilateral relations between our countries, as well as relations between the European Union and China, not only grow dynamically, but increasingly more and more are based on innovations and high value added industries. To achieve ambitious goals set forth in numerous agreements and declarations that bind us together, we need future elites that are both excelling in their fields of specialization and are able to cooperate with their colleagues from other countries. I hope that this competition will become a source of inspiration for many young talents and wish you every success.

我谨向中波大学联盟艺术设计大赛的组织者、获奖者和参赛单位予以衷心的祝贺。中波众多著名的大学齐心协力举办这一赛事，我对此深表满意。

大赛精彩纷呈，为学生创造机会展现他们的才华、能力及创造力。这也是增强学术和文化合作，以及中波两国人文交流的方式。大赛吸引了众多才能卓越的参赛者。这表明大赛组织者兢兢业业、不辞劳苦、全心全意。同时表明在艺术和设计领域需要更多中波大学积极投入，中波两国可展开深入合作。

中波两国的关系同欧盟与中国的双边关系一样，欣欣向荣、蓬勃发展，这有赖于创新及高附加值产业。我们签订了诸多协议及声明，将双方联系在一起。为了实现共同设立的远大目标，我们需要既能在各自的专业领域出类拔萃，又能与其他国家同僚通力合作的未来精英。希望这次比赛能为众多年轻才俊提供灵感源泉，预祝活动圆满成功。
